Linnea has been a professional photographer for over 20 years. She has spent the necessary 16 hour days, 7 days a week learning and refining her craft. She has worked in the industry under such respected commercial photographers as Diego Uchitel and Lee Varis. Her exceptional photography has been accepted into the elite division of Getty Images known as Stone. While owning her own darkroom, she further developed her craft becoming an expert printer in silver, polylith and platinum printing.
Linnea is a uniquely art-obsessed individual and you will be both amused and exhausted by her energy and passion for life and her art. Since 1978 she has developed her photographic style, lighting style and has perfected her technical photographic understanding. Linnea Lenkus draws upon this experience to give each and every one of her clients the striking, artistic portraits she's known for. At Linnea Lenkus Fine Art Portrait Studios we pride ourselves on the care and detailed attention we give each of our clients. We have a full time staff that is preocuppied with art and producing the finest imagery. Our "office talk" is devoted to the delicate details of your order from cropping to toning to finishes to talk about art technique and the endeavor of producing the best work that we can be proud of.
Our art designer is highly experienced in photo display and has a degree from the Art Institute and will give you creative guidance as well as discuss with you portrait cropping, tone selection and finish selections. She is an expert at laying out albums and combining portraits in your home for a complete art collection. We also use state-of-the-art software to help you order your portraits. If you e-mail us digital snapshots of your wall space, we can show you how your images will look in your home. This takes out the guess work ensuring that you will love the art on your walls.
We send our orders to our printer immediately to make sure you receive your portraits in a timely manner. We have retouchers who understand our style, are efficient, and who specialize in image post-production and quality control. Our staff personally reviews all prints we receive from our professional portrait photography lab after we receive them. This insures that when our clients pick up their prints we know the order is complete and as perfect as can be.
