Mother and Child Portrait, Children’s Portraits
My idea in this portrait was to portray the tight relationship between this mother and child. Her son was very loving and still attached and I sensed that they had a great joy together. He still loved to sit on her lap, as my son does. I think that closeness makes a beautiful child portrait. I felt a sense of who he was and that included his love for his mother.
